Letter Before Claim from Gladstones Solicitors

Hi All

I have received a letter from Gladstone titled Letter Before Claim for stopping in an unmarked area on Spinningfields, Manchester. I followed the newbie guide but am getting lost in translation trying to work out what my appropriate response should be. If I had received one PCN letter with a photo previously from ES Parking Enforcement, then the Letter Before Claim from Gladstones, what chance of appeal do I have and to whom?

Most of what I read said to respond to Gladstone to acknowledge receipt of the letter. But I can't find what I am supposed to do after that?

This letter has literally got me tearing my hair out. Any help or direction would be gratefully received.

Thanks

the LBCCC FIGHTBACK thread in the crabman sticky thread details where you are at , although its a bit dated

you are at the LBC stage , prior to an MCOL

so you play letter tennis with the LBC , using some sort of LBC reply letter like a GAN letter

Gladstones tend to issue an MCOL after 14 days as you can see here

    https://bmpa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203570162-Gladstones-Solicitors

they get paid win or lose and so issue lots of LBC,s and MCOLS

no chance of an appeal as that ship sailed long ago, plus any appeal is biased in the PPC favour anyway

this is likely to end up as an MCOL , especially if you fail to reply, but probably anyway - regardless

some more advice in this one too

One of a number of short, to the point and incisive letters designed, variously, to provide robust response to solicitors, PPCs, debt collectors and their ilk, drafted by PePiPoo regular contributor 'Gan'.

Do some research of Gladstone cases over there and check for Gan inputs. There will be others that could be adapted residing on BW Legal threads. Have a scout around.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
