I hardly ever get called. Once a month if that, and then it's always that one insurance company that run a monthly comp and call you one time a week or so after you enter to offer you their products. I just say that I'm not needing any insurance and they are polite and non-harassing. (sorry, can't remember the company name atm).
eta - yes, I definitely have a comping email. Actually I have 2! One I use if it looks more spammy than the other.
I absolutely wouldn't comp with an email I use for stuff like online banking/shopping etc.Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0
