Morning All
Well done Team GB!
It looks ok outside, sad I don't have any washing to do although I will have towels from swimming later. I'm going out to lunch to a work colleague, a few of us going and she has a very young baby so hopefully will get a cuddle!
Hope you feel better soon AOD, the toe sounds painful.
dumpling, sorry to hear of your friend but pleased you are over your 'wobble'.
HH - remember to give yourself a little time too.
Thinking of you csarina.
I was really busy yesterday, cut the grass (it was quite wet) and then did the hedge at the front, it divides the two semis so I do next doors as well so it looks tidy. Went for lunch with friends then sewed a bag - another of my christmas presents sorted!
Hope you all have a good day, not long now JackieO! Take care. XX0 -
Morning everyone,
Usual day at work which went in super-fast, thankfully. Followed then by the gym for a wee hour and a nice healthy meal. Nothing to report really.
My GF and I are going to our friends house on Saturday for a takeaway and a few drinks. I bumped into them at the gym yesterday and we were discussing food and if I should bring some wine. Now bear in mind, we’re 26, and saying some things like, “I hope it’s not a late one” and “it’ll be nice to just chill out on Saturday night”. Gone are the days of partying till the early hours. *sigh*
Hoping that today will be the same and I’ll squeeze a run in at lunch time as were going to C*stco later tonight for some things in bulk so save cash in the long run.
Anyway, have a nice day everyone.0 -
Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
The patient had a good night, we have just had breakfast, will get him up and give him a strip wash later.

I hope things go well now he is home.
No builders today so having a sleep in until a knock at the door. The coconut oil I ordered for DDs has arrived. It comes in a big plastic tub which is not very glamorous so I might melt it down later and divide between pretty glass jars.
Just having yoghurt for breakfast and realised it was a few days out of date  so abandoned that idea after eating half a pot before I realised. As the advert says "Think I will stick to tea ".
I now have a washing line so am going to put stuff out later and then put more bedding in the wash. Builders moved the big pine chest of drawers from my bedroom to under the stairs and I want to sort out all the bedding and tablecloths etc so I can find things easily. If I put the duvet covers inside a pillow case then that should make things simple for when family stay over.
DD's cat hid under the upstairs bath panel just as they were about to leave for a wedding and caused no end of worry so builders are going to put another couple of panels on. Velux blinds are ordered for upstairs so things are finally taking shape.
ancient of days
I hope you are going to the GP or AandE with the broken toe as it sounds really painful.
Just had another knock on the door and delivery of a tower fan ready for the heatwave that is supposed to be due. Hope that does not mean I have scuppered summer.
Pork chops are defrosting later to have with green veg or else sliced thinly with cous cous or rice.
Fingers and toes crossed at eleven for youngest who has a second interview and presentation.

Hi Chums<< Hugs>> for those who are feeling down or worried about loved ones.
Hopefully flutterby has had her little one and both are doing well.
Last minute jobs today with the boys took them into Chatham to Primarni's and got them all some new swim shorts for the holidays then to Subways as I had some vouchers, then we dropped two stamped self addressed envelopes off at the boys school as their exam results come out whilst we are on holiday, fingers crossed
Back at their house now, and the youngest is cleaning out his Dads car then he will give in a wash for him. I have got all my washing up to date and dried will iron it tonight, and DDs is out on the line having a bit of a blow.Older boys are sorting out their stuff in their bedrooms for packing tomorrow. Things are at the moment all running like clockworkHope I haven't put the mokkers on it

Day went well until OH got up after his siesta and promptly had a dizzy which lasted and hour and a half.
Nurses came this morning and then another set this afternoon to give him his injection. they want to bring it forward from 6pm to 1 pm, I am going to take over after the weekend will gradually get it back to 6pm which is where the hospital said it should be given.
Afraid I am not in the best of moods we are back where we were 8 years ago dizzies and no help from anyone.0 -
So sorry to hear that csarina. I think it's terrible that you've been left to cope with this. Years ago you stayed in hospital until well enough to come home, now they just send you home for relatives to cope with things. So unfair. Evening al
Hugs Csarina, I hope things improve soon.
Hubby had a phone call this afternoon from a friend, they've been friends since secondary school, last year they went to a motorbike race event, I have no idea why but they fell out and haven't spoken since until the phone call this afternoon, friends wife is dying, will not survive past the weekend, she's in her early 50's. She was told 3 or 4 years ago to stop drinking but couldn't, her liver has failed, they won't even move her to intensive care as nothing can be done.
They have lived with the wife's father for the last 5 or 6 years, long story concerning hubby's friend not working and the 2 men have never got on, so once the wife dies, hubby's friend will be homeless, guess who he's moving in with? Yep, us. I can't stand the guy, he is rude and abrasive. O Happy Days!!!!
