  • As far as I am aware it is "just" £25 per holding.

At £25 per stock it might be cheaper to sell the holding and move the cash for free?
  • It will cost me £9.95 to sell, £12.95 to re buy at Halifax.

Which is cheaper and less money for A J Bell if that matters to you.
  • I would love nothing more than to not give them a penny but it will end up costing me more and more hassle.

I would be out of the market for however long it takes to sell, move cash and re buy and the funds are doing well at the moment daily, I know this wont always be the case but for the sake of a few quid and no hassle I will have to take it on the chin and have a seamless transfer.

    It's £75 PLUS £25 per holding.

Or a flat £75 if you're only transferring out cash.

Edit - D'oh, sorry, assumed you were talking about SIPPs (I assume everyone has a SIPP with AJBell, because that's what I have). If you're talking about ISAs or vanilla dealing accounts you're correct)
  • That's just on the SIPP (I am leaving that with them and just transferring my ISA and dealing account) annoyingly I have just called them re charges and because my ISA subscription is full I will have to sell part of one of my holdings to free up the cash to pay for the exit fee's so that's another £10 to sell a % of one holding!

They are definitely not making me second think my decision to leave!

Anyone using xo as a dealing account? Don't see the point of paying Bell just to hold long term ITs. Do you get emails when dividends arrive etc, and keeping an eye on things online ok?

Yep. No thrills. I maintain my own spreadsheet so track dividends constantly, i.e. xd dates payment dates etc.

I assume these new SIPP charges will also filter through to iWeb because they are part of AJ Bell. Aren't they?
