The answer is to keep on top of the transactions that appear on your account, if you see a fraudulent transaction early enough you can report it to the card issuer and it will be removed from your account and have no impact on you. And if you do that on a regular basis you can also ensure that you're not breaching your personal credit limit, regardless of what the actual card limit is.0
