My mother has a BT cordless. It has an excellent loudspeaker function and she needs the dialling buttons to be on the handset, especially so she can dial the last caller back using a single digit plus use the address book. I looked through the links posted here thinking, what would she use if she moved to a home? Looks like none of those gadgets replicate the simplicity and robustness of BT cordless handsets where you can use all functions while sitting up in bed.

Plus, you cannot take your landline number with you if you move to a local care home. Quite cruel for those in their 70s to 90s.
