Buying new C3 Picasso
My wife has done the deal on a new C3 Picasso for delivery 1st Sept. (well she's given them £500 deposit) ... the basic 1.2 Puretech 110. The OTR RRP is £16,575. She has asked for a 48 month pcp deal and handed in an old car PX. The bottom line is, after all the stuff about px, cash deposit, dealer contributions etc and including the balloon payment after 4 years she will be paying out £14,800 ... I've heard that there are some good deals out there is it worth her shopping around even more than she has (she is not a good negotiator and doesn't like me "poking my nose in") ! ie is it far off what would be expected from a main dealer please ?
Thanks Roger

Have you looked at carwow? No actual experience myself but having had a play for a potential purchase it looks good. Also drive the deal.
You'll have to sell the old car yourself in those cases.0 -
Drivethedeal says £10,595.
Yes, it's worth shopping around.0 -
time for negotiating was before paying the deposit. Technically she has now entered into a contract and could be sued for breach if she were to back out of the deal.
Why did you not assist her during negotiations instead of now?

The deal's already done, you say?
And the person doing it is happy with the deal, and would like you not to get involved...?
Ooookay.0 -
