  • so the update never came! Sorry about that.

I have been making a conscious effort to get up to date at work and haven't had much time for anything else. I am nearly there. NEARLY!

As a result I haven't done any washing, the pets have been slightly neglected and the house is a tip! but it will all come together soon honest!

    Money wise

    2100 savings
    no debts
    80 saved for Christmas
17 in the guinea pig fund (!) for vets..
I have about 87 quid and 380 in random savings accounts which I ignore.

Feb is going to be a tight month as I have set the challenge of saving a 1000.........watch this space!

  • Just a quick pop in. am still ill, sinuses now. took Friday off work. will probably take Monday off as well.

my plan to save 1000 this month has gone wrong ;)

Car mot cost me 430 plus I bought 6 months tax.............this was so I don't start each year with an epic bill - just paid 900 in insurance.

I have been ill since probably before Christmas - I know the first day I gave in was boxing day. Shame as I enjoyed Christmas day.

It has scared me a bit. I have lost around 10 pounds and just cannot stop the cycle of coughing and gagging or throwing up. On Friday my sinuses got in on the act and the pain was intense. Steaming my face and resting with a wheat bag on my face has helped. Today I just feel drained and my tummy is playing up. Bed soon. Doctor on Monday. not going to work.

Hi, popping in to say I hope you feel better soon. Are you eating properly? I know how hard it can be when you already get low at times and have lots of work on. Time to focus on you a bit as being ill for over a month must be really awful! Hope the doc can give you some answers.

Oh Buffster :( I know quite a few people who are struggling to shake off prolonged coughs/sinus/flu. Doctor might give you antibiotics to kill it off. Take care xx
