  • INOD you so remind me of a real life friend I feel like I have known you forever. You are such a good friend and I am grateful that I know you XXXX

Things are a bit sucky here. Have been ill - too ill to drive, weird dizziness going on and vague earache tooth ache.

However I am GOING TO THE DOCTORS tomorrow night at 6.30!

thought you would all like that :)

  • I have high blood pressure.

not super high but enough to knock me. The Doctor was utterly useless, told me it was high and despite me saying it had been high last time he said it was nothing to worry about - it is 140/92 - the diagrams I looked at seem to say that it is high.

I feel old and hopeless tonight. I just need a little time to take in yet another wake up call.

Oh and I never ever got to tell about the dizzy feeling! He prescribed the drugs I had before which didn't work last time (and yes I did tell him that)

any how, I am going to have a cup of tea and go to bed.

  • He wasn't the regular doctor and it was 7pm, the surgery shuts at 7 and he still had people to see so I get it... just annoying. Especially as having the high blood pressure explains the dizziness and the random chest pains - VERY infrequent.

  • Raise a complaint with the practice manager. It's not good enough.

Someone I work with has high blood pressure. She has recently had her medication dosage upped as not working. Plus she changed the time of day she takes her tablet. She also checks her blood pressure regularly with one of those machines. The readings have finally come down, took a bit of doing though. She also has diabetes but this is stable.

Make sure you get sorted properly. It annoys me when doctors fob you off. Remember when they tried to say Mr SA had depression? Let that be a lesson to keep chipping away if you're not satisfied. Your health is too precious to leave to chance.

    Take care Buffster xx
