I don't know where the last ten days have gone but we've all be a little under the weather (bad cold and cough) so that has curtailed shopping trips- pleased to report we are solidly within budget at 179.28/360 . Still got quite good supplies in fridge and freezer but might need a small shop over weekend for kiddie snacks- running out of rice cakes.
  • Went to Morries yesterdy and got a few bits and OH insisted on paying so no idea how much was spent as he had a trolley full of C'mas booze as well. I then paid for a lunch treat instead of him so although I have £9.30 left it isnt a true reflection on what was spent on the food actually coming into the house. I cant work out how to do this challenge more accurately.
All that clutter used to be money
  • I have had a couple of spends, mounting to just over £11, plus another £1.99 on alcohol. It leaves me with just over £10 to get to the end of the month. Need to do a meal plan later today and hoping not to spend 'till Monday. Its definately doable, but I do have a self destruct mentality, which sometimes rears its head, so we shall see. Have a lovely w/e everyone. Have updated sg.

Have been careless for quite a while, but need to tighten things up now that DD1 and DS1 are living at home again, so setting €300 as a target for October, been a long time since we were 4, hope it will be enough!

thought that it was still September.. Above really meant for November......Alzeimers or what???

Well, we are currently at £246.18, which is £46 over what we would have expected at this time in the month. HOWEVER, bulk buying has meant that we don't have to buy any cleaning supplies and we have enough dinner meals to last until the 29th.

We have another £63.82 to spend this month before we hit budget - and are currently a colossal £177.44 under last months spend

Currently at 1,050.81/3650, and only in the third month!

Ooh, I wish I had kept a record of my housekeeping savings on my signature. I've been doing this for at least five years now and started by recording over £750 in my first month where I checked my receipts. Now we are about 35% of that. Brilliant idea!
