Had to look at my bank statement as I can't find my receipts for the last while and luckily used my switch card as if I have cash it just gets spent.
6 individual shops at the Co-op which brings my total up to £204.69/£320. I'm actually quite pleased with this as I can easily be well over £500 at this point of the month. The Co-op is just beside my house so is my first port of call on my way home if I need anything, I really need to start going to Aldi instead as it's only 2 mins in the car in the opposite direction!! that's the next thing I'm working on.
Another positive note, I bought a white board week planner and have been writing the weeks meals on it. This is really helping with my forgetting to take stuff out the freezer the night before I've told everyone its there responsibility too, as I'm quite happy with poached egg on toast every night for my dinner!! I also think I've spent a bit less this month because I checked what was in my cupboards and planned my meals around that rather than just writing something on the plan and then going to the shops for the stuff I need.
Had a takeaway at the weekend but I didn't pay for it so I'm not going to count it, I also kept the change for going lol, don't think my OH noticed.JAN - £208.56/£250 NSD-8

hi Everyone,
Spends so far £236/£300 and just under 2 weeks until the end of the month.
It going to be tight because I've had more to feed than usual for the last week or so, but the fridge and freezer are pretty well stocked so I am hoping I can still come in on budget or just a wee bit over budget at the very worse.
Good luck everyoneWell Behaved women seldom make history

Well I'm doing ok, although I have spent more than half with 11 days to go! Pretty full freezer with plenty of meat and other meals and plenty of lunch box snacks for the kids so I am confident I will come in on target.

£12.30 yesterday. It's not a fortune, but I'm cross with myself because I only went up there for a loaf of bread & some rolls! But then again, there were a couple of good bargains to snap up & pop into the festive stores, which I won't have to buy in December. Swings & roundabouts... I'm still not doing too badly, and would be on track to keep to my original budget of £520, but I haven't done anything about re-stocking the freezer yet.Angie - GC Sept 25: £311.65/£450: 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 28/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0

Well after being pretty careful for the last fortnight I've now gone over : £108 spent (including £78 on nappies  ) so a total of £413/400 now spent. I ended up doing an online shop as I ran out of nappies yesterday and found cheap ones in bulk on sainsb*y so thought I might as well try and get enough for October too. I then made October's meal plan (easier second time around and no parties or visitors this month! ) and bought a few things for that.
So although I've broken the September budget, October is planned and shopped for already.:D0
