Just added another £5.50 whilst looking through the bank statements. Forgot hubby bought some baby milk at boots. We bulk bought baby milk a couple of weeks ago but now he's on lactose free which costs £5.50 for a tiny tin which probably last 3 days, we still have 3 tubs of unopened milk in the cupboard worth £30.... What a waste x

Can you not sell the unopened milk? On a local selling page on FB or something?

Do I need it or just want it.
  • Two NSDs in a row! Busy yesterday going upcountry to a family do, then again today working, and wouldn't have had time to get to a supermarket or anywhere else that groceries can be purchased. Food for the week was all bought on Friday; a beef casserole simmered away in the slow cooker all day yesterday, and DD1 cooked a magnificent roast today for me to come home to.

Had an unexpected NSD today :) So my spend to date is 192.24, leaves me with 107.76 for the month, should be doable as I'm on using up store cupboards, fridge & freezer horde!

I have managed to not spend for 9 days now, except for a 50p (ish) spend and am probably going to go through 'till Tuesday, where I will go to the fruit market to get some salad stuff, mushrooms & advocados - I'm really pleased with myself, never managed to go that long - been digging deep into freezer and today was dinner round families.
