Had to get some shampoo from The Body Shop (one of the only types of anti-dandruff I can use) which was £5, which killed me a bit as I normally stock up on these online where they are only £4, and I usually manage to use a 50% off code too!
Got some yellow sticker GF items from M&S £7. Poundland £3 on celetape and envelopes, .. it all comes out the shopping budget.
Went into Dobbies to get a nice gift of Scottish shortbread and chocolates for DH's uncle who is coming from England for the weekend, spent £15 on this, but DH paid out of his 'pocket money'That shop is lovely for something special, but it's not cheap!

Something has gone seriously askew this month as I now have £19.40 left of the budget (which resets on the 27th) after the purchasing of fruit, veg, bread, cheese, milk, mango chutney and baking paper.
The differences between this month and last month are many-i was away for a week last month, we had to restock a lot of things this month, I have stocked up on more things-so there are reasons for us going over. If we go over.
I say If because I want to dig deep and make sure we are so careful with what we buy, whilst being healthy and eating well, to not only minimise the damage, but to also maybe stay within target.
I'm sure there are MSE-ers who would say that £19.40 is plenty for 3 weeks of food. So I will be creative and persevere.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Hi Florence J - if you can "shop" from home I am sure you can do this - have you tried figuring out a meal plan til 27th? Look foward to your creatitivity0 -
£5 spent today on popcorn, frozen fish, beer and brie. The things I couldn't find at Lidl :-)
