Precise mortgages.

So,
Today just got my DIP through for the amount we wanted, we're going to view the house tomorrow and make an offer.
The broker we spoke to was pleasant and very friendly, I'm very new to all this and not too sure about how to find what 'tier' I am on but all seems very good now, hoping for the offer to be accepted and we can get a move on with everything from there!
how long from DIP to completion should i intend to wait? I've heard that precise mortgages are very picky but to have a DIP is a good start..
the idea of just getting the mortgage would be to just remortgage within the next two years, so we have a decent build up and not waiting for my default to knock off!

Completion could be week away.
Or it could be 6 months or so.0 -
Quick question, who pays the stamp and how do we pay if we need to?[STRIKE]1/12/16 - £152,599.00 [/STRIKE]

You pay this, though the solicitor will probably complete the return on your behalf. It's likely they'll want the money just before completion. Your lenders will want them to check you can actually pay it."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
All a Decision in Principle means is that the lender doesn't have any outright objections to lending you £x, assuming they find the property acceptable. Since you've not even had an offer accepted on a property, you're a LONG way off exchanging contracts - which is the stage that the completion date is set at.0

We have had the offer accepted. Just wondering how do we pay the stamp that was all. In installments or a lump?[STRIKE]1/12/16 - £152,599.00 [/STRIKE]

Good news.Just wondering how do we pay the stamp that was all. In installments or a lump?
You're a long way from that stage - but, yes, it's all due in one lump just after completion, although your solicitor and lender will want proof that you will have it available, probably by you paying it to your solicitor before completion. You've got a lot of other spending to do between now and then, together with a lot of waiting - and that assumes everything goes smoothly.
We're now in early August... At the moment, just work on the basis that you'll be in the place before Christmas. Probably...0 -

It's cool I was working on the assumption that we would be in before march next year!
Thank so for that, plenty of time anyways..
