Great idea with the OU courses. Did the Bowen help? I have found it helpful in the past.

I did week 1 of the course last night...I don't think it will take me the 24 hours it suggests.

I don't think the Bowen helped, I am going to try another massage therapy and see how that goes.

Did you only have one session? The first one I had was a complete waste of time I thought - but I had a series of 3 booked and paid for on advice of vet for horse and the woman insisted on doing the rider too. For the second - I couldn't work out why the horse hated it so much as I thought it was ineffective but after a couple of days I realised a niggling pain in my neck had gone. I know work on the 3 strikes for a therapist and then out if no improvement.
Hope you find some relief soon
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I normally go for a minimum of 3 sessions but she didn't seem in a hurry to organise another session and asked if I had considered this other type of massage they do...

We had our work Christmas meal last night so Mr AJM came across to join us and stayed over. We went out for a lovely lunch and then he went home, he was here for less than 18 hours but it feels very quiet now :( I am still finding his interest in our potential mortgage "free-ness" a bit strange as I am so used to having to find a way into the conversation about it. He double checked how long we have to go over lunch, he isn't really enjoying work at the moment which probably has a lot to do with it. We have about 20 months until the larger mortgage is clearer based on our current plan but with the possibility of getting rid of it earlier if our savings match the mortgage amount earlier.

Mr AJM is quite down about work at the moment so I decided last night to tell him about our large mortgage being below £100k by the end of the week to cheer him up. It turns out he has started looking at that section of the online banking account page too so he already knew. He was convinced I had our end result for the year wrong as I wouldn't have added December's interest on, he is happy that he is wrong instead. Part of me wants to forfeit luxuries for a year to try and bring the date closer but I think holidays will be the only thing keeping us sane. It might also be the only year where we get our summer holiday together for quite a while so I want to make the most of it.

The good thing is we are currently looking at paying the large mortgage off from our savings in August 2018 but that is based on our mortgage decreasing and our savings staying where they are so this date will be sooner. I feel like a child waiting for Christmas with this at the moment but that day will be here soon enough :j

    :T fantastic news, that's a great milestone.

Sounds like Mr AJM has caught the MFW bug well and truly!

Sad times, my overall savings total for the month has reduced from a month ago, I preferred the turmoil in the markets before the US election, I was making mega bucks in my S&S ISA at that point.

Even more frustrating, my standard mortgage payment and OP aren't showing on my online banking yet so I can't celebrate our achievement, I hope I don't need to wait until Monday.
