Far too complicated to claim cash backs😡

I have just tried to claim a cash back on a fridge I've bought from John Lewis.
I was unable to do this on my main computer (John Lewis customer service were 100% helpful but didn't understand why it wouldn't work). Moved on to my iPad....it worked but oh my god what a pain.
I had to enter an uploaded invoice...
Model number...
Serial number...
Date......
PRice of item ...
even though all of this was on the uploaded invoice.
Then when I thought I'd completed I had to enter serial number of the fridge...
Bank details sort code a/c number etc
I was exhausted by the time I'd finished ok so I consider myself fairly competent on a computer but this was all too much.
JUST MAKE IT EASY🙄Please please !
DUke🙂

Doesn't sound particularly onerous to me, but if you don't want the cash back, don't do it in future.0

..... and isn't it annoying that you've already pushed the unit back to the wall when you find out you want the serial number. Why don't manufacturers put them on the front. I always write mine on the paperwork before installation.0

Doesn't sound too much work for a cashback deal.0

They are hardly likely to make it easy for you to relieve them of money though, to be honest. Lots of people won't bother, which is good for the retailers.0

If that left you exhausted maybe it's time for a trip to the doctor?
Honestly, was it any more exhausting than recounting the same information in your post?0 -
Poor poor you, have herbal tea and a lie-down, then book a session with your therapist (assuming it's not to arduous to book)0

Don't listen to them OP, they're jealous because they're not getting a cashback and/or they don't have a new fridge and/or they can't afford to shop at John Lewis.0

I agree with the OP, they could make it much easier, shame on them.0
