Well the winner of the popcorn on twitters entry was getting out of bed on a Monday morning

I've just seen it. Thank goodness it was something that everybody could relate to. I hope that PS will think twice about posting another comp like that. Some of that was tough to read (and some were quite disgraceful tbh)

I've had a friend request from a name very similar to Michigan lady...in fact her usual name is used as the middle and last name on this profile, with a different first name.

No pictures aside generic Google image of a dog. The account looks to be for the sole purpose of entering comps.

Does anyone know if they've use more than one profile previously? I don't want to accuse them unfairly, but at the same time its also unfair if they're entering competitions more than once using multipul profiles.

I feel as if I've just sold my own soul to the devil. I just entered a comp for a Spurs match (for my husband to go) - I'm a Gooner. I want to vomit. What if someone thinks I'm disloyal and have no staying power with my club through it's down times and even worse down times.:rotfl:

they are also using one with the surname as the first name and the 'surname' is the males name (T) making it look like a relation. Same people though by the way they type.

They are going all out aren't they? I hope FB see it and ban 'em.
BTW, did Mr Michigan win the bull semen?:rotfl:

Don't worry about it. I enter comps for Scumchester Utd tickets (even though I prefer Liverpool) 'cos DH is an ardent fan. Just make sure, if you win, that you have a pair of heatproof wellies. I've won tickets for Old Trafford before, and they came in quite useful when traipsing round that ground.
Sorry it hear that you are a Gooner though, it must be very painful atm

For those people who post sad/heartbreaking stories on Facebook when the winner is chosen randomly I'm tempted to reply with the comment
"So sorry to read about your loss etc etc but a computer software program running a random generator to pick a winner doesn't really care let alone know how to respond to your post, you've got as much chance of winning with your story about how your family survived a tsunami as I have commenting with the phrase I'd support Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un as official world leaders of every nation"

All the mothers' day competitions are really doing my head in. My mum died nearly two years ago but far from using the fact to try and win a competition with a sob story, I just steer clear of any competition that asks you to comment why your mum deserves afternoon tea / is the best / what your mum means to you etc! I don't want to splash my woes all over Facebook. It makes me feel uncomfortable! I'd sooner go without the (slim) chance of winning whatever prize is on offer, than publicise my life story!

Just thought that I'd let you lot know that a certain chap who has a relative somewhere abroad has written himself into mythical comping folklore.....
He's won something that some of you have been after for ages that is useful when frying fish. I hope you know what I mean and no-one complains about this post. :rotfl:
There is hope for some of you yet.......:rotfl:
