If it's the one I think it is, they won the other day. I also think it's the one who 'dreamed' of winning soup ('cos it was a big birthday) a while back - a few people called her on it :rotfl:

What grinds my gears these days is those people who post "wacky" pictures of themselves in reply to Twitter competitions. I keep seeing the same ones over and over again. Why? All they have asked for is a retweet, what is the purpose of you posting a picture of yourself with an inane grin on your face? Narcissism?

At any rate, it's not amusing, it's just annoying.
    :wall:

There are two people i know that do that because their pic is always top when i retweet a comp. Both huge images of their faces and i have no idea why they do it or what relevance it has. One of them used to do it with her son but she just has a giant pic of her head now.
    August-September 2017: Lots of stuff :)

Mars Milk comp, asks for the location of the bottle on the grid but "Son married in Michigan" guy strikes again-with the same old routine! They seem to be having a terrible time too with all of their communication devices!

Just wondering which comp this is - 'Cos I can't find it (I am useless at finding comps on FB) Hey, wait though, I could use that couldn't I?

'I should win 'cos it's taken so long to find this wonderful, generous comp, due me being utterly useless using FB search. In fact I could have flown to Michigan and back, the time it has taken me to find it'

Feel free to wave handbags at me :rotfl::T

Seriously though, that is getting very tedious.

That can be your sob story! You have a poor dog who can't stay still and a new toy might cheer him up (or a new vacuum for you might help with the struggle)

lol. I am going full on this year. I'm going for antlers, can't keep still (although he is very lazy :rotfl:) and, the really sad look (easy, he's a Basset Hound)
I reckon that I'll win some chocolate, a vacuum and every other advent out there. Not forgetting a toy for him - although he'd rather have a chewy :rotfl:.
    I'll show superheroes & Michigan........................

.................how to fail, 'cos I know it won't work :rotfl::rotfl::mad::rotfl:

  • im always seeing the "what an amazing and generous prize....over the moon...share with my best..." blah blah blah on comps......i though brown noser, however being very very new to comping, do the sob stories make a difference?, how do they choose winners? my personal thoughts would be some take the time to use some sort of fair name generater, others will scroll though and see who they like the look of?! and if the latter is the case im getting my old bikini pics out :) (just kidding!!) x
