    Just seen this lady on Twitter. Kitchen roll would be a treat apparently (or words to that effect)
    At least it isn't a sob story - still can't get over people using Monday's events to try and 'gain' an advantage.

    She c&Ps the same thing every where as many of them do. Often what they put seems somewhat inappropriate for the prize. I'm hoping that companies will eventually work it out - they obviously don't see the same faces over and over like we do but they see a lot of entries.

    I agree with you there. Some of it is like a stuck record. Tedious.
    Btw, I can't remember if I have seen it mentioned before on this thread (and tbh, I can't be bothered to look :rotfl:) but, I keep seeing one that goes along the lines of 'I might win, but I might not, but it's the taking part..........., etc, etc'
    It's as bad as 'Wow!! Wot (gah!!) a lovely prize, so generous...,yak, yak, yak'
    And half the time, the rules say that you need to answer a question, and they don't even give an answer, they are too busy c&p'ing.

    It is making me cringe reading what folk have said :o
    I feel like I'm verging on begging even when I make a rare, relatively simple comment, let alone writing a whole paragraph on my cellulite and saggy chin and the perils of ageing ;)
    It just baffles me how companies seem to fall for this still. Surely they must get so many that it becomes tedious and slightly annoying?

    Have just done a few FB comps in the last few minutes and can't believe the cringey, ridiculous comments on all of them. :wall:

    I keep seeing lots of gifs on there just lately, and one person just decorates their entry with lots of hearts emojis. Some of them are works of art.
    I'm still doing the #hashtag & the primative :) smiley thing.
    Can't people just keep it simple? I'm surprised that a full A4 sob story essay hasn't been scanned and used to get around the 140 character limit...........

    I've just given folks ideas there, haven't I? :eek::eek::eek::rotfl::eek::eek::eek:

    Seen some really awful ones on facebook yesterday, I think it was The Range hot tub, people are saying why they needed to relax or something, 1 woman when through her medical history, ops, cancer the lot, to win a sodding hot tub, another was a car crash which left her with insomnia etc etc but I couldn't believe what I was reading.
    Why do people think it's ok to tell all to win a hot tub? :(
    Think it's about time the comping fairy remembered where I am! lol

    Could get interesting - T&Cs are quite good but don't say you have to be in UK...although they do say you might be asked to attend the nearest branch to collect the prize
