New car order

Each dealer is allocated a limited number of new cars.
If you speak to a.n.other dealers you can often find one who has a car on pre-order available for you to buy.

A bit late for you perhaps? Maybe you can shop around / ask lease company if they can source one from an other dealer?

Yes, it was the new shape. Ordered as soon as they started taking orders for the new one, had it a month and a bit now I think.

Lease company told her there was no build slots available, but when my colleague checked with the local Kia dealer, they could order one for guaranteed delivery within 12 weeks. Was just the lease company taking a long time on processing the order, basically.

Lease company said 10-12 weeks for delivery. Spoke to the kia dealer it has been ordered through today and they said 7-10 weeks. Kia factory is closed until Monday and they will build cars in date order. Not in a huge rush but would like an idea of approx date for delivery as i have a car to sell.
