Camera on dual carriageway help
Can anyone tell me what this camera is? https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.8321713,-4.186961,3a,30y,283.19h,93.32t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1shR191m6GhYaKazKUY99g6w!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
It's in a 60 zone but i was doing around 62-64
silly me!!
I just drove from work and got in the wrong lane on a roundabout, ended up on a dual carriageway and had to turn off and get back on the otherside.

If your speedo said 62-64 you were probably only actually doing 58-62.
All of which is irrelevant as it's not a speed camera.0 -
Doesn't even look like ANPR, probably just there to monitor traffic flow.0
-
There is another on the opposite side of the road, i passed it headed back.
I showed it to my bro he had no idea what it was, he drives a lot for work and has never seen them before0 -
It's one of the old Trafficmaster cameras, used to monitor traffic speed and volume.0
-
I've seen them before ... I agree with others above - it's traffic monitoring/CCTV type of camera, not speed or ANPR.0
-
Speed cameras have to have yellow backs, (and fronts for Truvelo).0
-
It's an ANPR camera as we have these where I live. The only reason I know they are anpr cameras is the council put on their facebook page to say they would be closing the road to install the anpr cameras.0

There is probably a website that you can use to view the feed to the camera. In Scotland its trafficscotland.org but not sure of rest of UK.0
