    Afternoon all

Had a lovely walk around Faversham then stopped for lunch on way back, very MSE, quiche, salad and chips, piece of cake, and a cuppa all for £6, and all home made too.

Just done meal plan to next week, mainly eating out of freezer and cupboards.

    Off to quiz tonight.

Just spoke to son who is working on Rio Olympics, he's getting busy training up other staff. His job won't really start until they start transmitting the sports.

Hugs to those waiting if new for poorly loved ones.

^ ^ ^ Wot she said! It must be so worrying for you both; hoping for good news for you asap.

Took Fidget out at 15:00, to find that part of a tree had come down across the alleyway leading to the Linear Park. Someone had reported it though, and the Council men were just arriving to clear it, so jolly well done MK Council!

    Hi everyone,

DH's interview went well and they want to see him for a third and final time next week yay! Thank you for all the positive thoughts. Still has two other companies firming up first round interviews too.

And in other news.....DS1 passed his driving theory test today first time. I cannot tell you how happy I am for him. He is chuffed to bits - didn't do well in GCSE's last year only getting 3 - went to grammar school and basically they didn't want him back. It's been a rollercoaster year, hopefully now getting more settled.

I am liking the sound of Boundary Mill - where is this shopping mecca lol?!

Coxy11 I think its up in Yorkshire somewhere, a bit of a trek from Kent :)probably just as well :)

Had a nice day just pottering around as DD had the day off so I had a break from boy-sitting duties .
They popped in on the way back from a walk with the little dog though and had a cuppa and cold drinks all round as its been quite warm today.

I got all my washing done and dried and will iron it after dinner tonight.

I am using up bits and pieces that are in the fridge at the moment Just steaming the last of the cauliflower and cabbage to have with a small jacket spud and a box of something frozen ,but unlabelled from the freezer.

I think its a meat sauce so will 'ping' it and chuck on top of the veggies.

I had an egg salad for lunch as I have a good few eggs in the fridge to use up before we go away next week.

Only 8 more days to go, and I will be out to dinner for three of those so I am sure I can cobble together enough from the freezer to save me going near a shop :)

I am down to four apples,a cucumber, a half an iceberg lettuce, 5 tomatoes, 5 jacket sized spuds and a chunk of cheese.

More than enough if I freezer dive as well :):)I have a good few HM ready meals in there. I like my fridge to be empty by the day I go on holiday and work out my menus from what I have got left :):):)

Hugs to Lainey and Deleted_User must be very worrying time at the moment.

Hope everyone has had a good day

    Cheers JackieO xx

JackieO: I'm getting the bunting and guard of honour organised. We will be well prepared by the time you get here.

If you are going to be in the area of the duver for your scattering of ashes you will be within spitting distance of me. I can't bear to think that you will be that close and I miss meeting you. I wouldn't dream of interrupting your family ceremonial but if you think that it is possible for a brief meeting and maybe a cup of coffee please PM me and we will try to organise it.
