TV licence, fire stick and what can I watch?

So I have just moved in to a new property and because I have always had sky decided to try netflix for a few months. My aerial actually doesn't work so I can't actually watch terrestial tv until I get it fixed. I bought a fire stick to stream T.V , am I right that although up until September September 1st I am well within my rights to watch any and all catch up services, I can't watch any "live"services such as Sky news or even the music channels such as Now or Heart because they are broadcasts but I can watch YouTube all day long?

I will be buying a tv licence later in the year, but as I mainly watch catch up tv and binge watch series so thought if I can avoid it for a few months I might as well , I just want to make sure I am doing it legal
