E-mail today:Good Morning All
I wanted you all to be the first to know that Ablrate has received the necessary authorisation from HMRC to be classed as an ISA Manager.
What this means on a practical level is that we are now able bring the Innovative Finance ISA to lenders. As you will be aware, we don't like to have armies of people doing everything in house when technology solutions are more cost effective, so we are evaluating companies that can provide the administrative and technical solutions to allow us to bring you the tax wrapper quickly.
Few things to let you know:
• Launch date: Unknown as of yet, but hopefully by the end of May 17
• Terms: We are evaluating the nuances of the Ablrate Product (suggestions welcome!)
We will keep you up to date on progress and will, of course, let you know when we have a firmer date for launch. There will also be a number of upgrades coming to the platform soon and I will let you know as they arise. We are working hard to deliver improvements in the secondary market history section and the information that can be gleaned from that (i.e. performance, breakdown of trades etc).
Onwards and upwards! I look forward to updating you on the progress of loans coming over the next week. The ones up there presently will be closed shortly, we are just awaiting final confirmations on some paperwork, but I guess that is the benefit of Instant Returns, you still earn!
All the best
Regards

Deal rate is slow but their secondary market is better than Moneything.
I'd prefer a bit more regularity on opportunities, but not too much excitement, Lendy is looking a bit like a huge game of Russian roulette currently from which I've politely excused myself.0 -
ablrate not on trustpilot. is it trustworthy?Another night of thankfulness.0

Yes, they are trustworthy. That's a major part of why they are one of my normal suggestions. I've no idea why they aren't on Trustpilot.
No charges to invest initially nor to buy or sell on the secondary market. Their money is made from charges to the borrowers before the lender cut is taken.0 -

Trying to sign up to Ablrate to go along with Moneything and Collateral, the first page step of the sign up, from what I see I am doing everything correctly, repearting it over and over but it keeps re-setting for me to do it again.
I can't for the life of me see why it is not going to step 2, is there maybe something up with the site at the moment?0 -

Apparently, 25% of reviewers give Trustpilot UK the worst possible rating of 1 star. Most of that being businesses complaining about negative reviews being left for them "unfairly" and customers complaining when those negative reviews get removed.
It's understandable companies will be unhappy. They pay Trustpilot to have their businesses featured, and some pay to have the feedback managed. They shouldn't have to put up with their image being tarnished by negative reviews left by users who use the site for free. But on the other hand, since businesses choose who to invite to leave a review, those businesses complaining about negative reviews should be a bit more careful who they select to leave verified reviews, as many other companies are I'm sure.
It seems there is even a long thread here on the subject: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/51975360 -
