What does fully authorised mean in this context?
Still learning about P2P :-).0 -
P2P firms that were in business when the FCA took over regulation of the sector were given interim permission to carry on operating while the FCA learned about the sector and worked with them to get them to meet its usual standards. Full authorisation means that the firm has met those requirements, though still might have more improving to do.
Full authorisation is also one of the requirements for being able to offer an ISA. No timing information from either of those two on this yet, though.0 -
For those interested, there still seems to be some offloading taking place on the SM for whatever reason. I've had a couple of low-ball bids matched quite quickly yesterday evening, which I wasn't expecting.
It is looking likely that those invested in the 5 year container loan are going to see a significant return of capital next week, so I expect a lot of the current availability to get mopped up shortly.0 -

I had a bid at par accepted very quickly. Wanted to get some repayments reinvested and a bit of diversification and didn't want the bid sitting there too long. Perhaps should have gone with a lower bid.
80% is a bit of a low bid on the bridging loan. Yield > 25%.0 -

Apparently we're being treated to an IF ISA from Ablrate next month, the platform having received its HMRC authorisation this week.0
