Tesco account and clubcard points?
Comments

is the clubcard account you're checking have the same account no as the one on your debit card? Or is it for a standard clubcard?0
-
Each Tesco Bank debit card has its own clubcard number, different from the holder's standard clubcard even if they provide that number at the time of application. That's why they need to be merged.0

Just spoken to Clubcard and the nice lady explained that the accounts should have been linked when I signed up to the Tesco current account, but because the Clubcard account is in my OH name, they stopped the link. (Would be nice to have this mentioned at the time, but whatever)
Now I have to phone back later with my OH present (security reasons), so the accounts can be linked together properly. Then all my accrued points will merge into the single account.
Bit of a pain, but oh well.
Still strange how the accounts do show as linked in the Tesco banking site though.0 -

Thanks for reminding me, I set mine all to accumulate and be paid out at Christmas, but I better check they are adding up!
Has anyone tried the airmiles trade in with tesco points? It seemed attractive but I'd rather spend my points in tesco which I would anyway and use the money I save on flights. Is this faulty logic at all?
Never use clubcard vouchers to spend in store, better using them on restaurants/theme parks or their boost schemes.
I did convert my points into avios to use a 'Reward' flight, used £24 of points for a flight to Ibiza (one way) and paid £17.50 in cash! So not bad going, but it's not as good value if you get regular flights as oppose to reward ones.0
