SNCF train cancelled, missed ferry plus more! Advice needed please

    Was it SNCF staff who made you buy another ticket or RENFE staff in Spain?

    I'm not sure to be honest as the station is separate to the main Figueres train station so i'm not sure if its ran by RENFE or SNCF, either way I don't believe I needed to buy extra tickets for the same service.


    Travel insurance say its not covered on my insurance

    Update: Received a letter from SNCF HQ France in the post this morning (very excited), the letter is in French (touche).
    Basically it is a short paragraph that says sorry for the train delay, sorry for the delay in replying and here's a 30 euro voucher to spend with SNCF (excluding Paris)
    No use to me I'll never use them again which is a shame as my whole family travel to Spain at least twice a year and this looked like a good alternative to driving

    I would perhaps investigate further whether it was Renfe or SNCF who made you buy extra tickets, if it was Renfe you could try pursuing them instead.
