Problem with TSB interest?

I've had the interest paid into 2 of my TSB accounts (one sole, one joint), but not my 3rd. Is there a problem with some accounts?

Account 3 did exactly the same as account 2 last month, and both have had exactly the same activity for the last few years and both had interest before.

Check the paperless settings and check what date £500 went through the account last month.

You are only allowed one Plus sole account and one Plus joint account so that could be it.
THE Classic Plus account is restricted to one account in your sole name, and another Plus account in joint names. Terms and conditions apply.

You are currently only allowed one sole and one joint however this was not always the case.

When TSB launched the Plus Account you could have two individual accounts but then they did reduce it to one however they continue to pay interest on additional accounts opened before the cut off date as long as you continue to meet the terms and conditions of £500 monthly funding and registered for paperless.

Suspect OP you have failed to meet the terms and conditions last month on that one account or they were incorrectly paying you interest on the second account if you opened after the change and now they have realised and reverted it to a classic account rather than plus.

When did you open the account?

When did you pay your £500 into the third account? Are your statement and correspondence settings on paperless?

No problem here with interest for 3 accounts this month.

Accounts have been operated the same way for years. Not sure of the exact date but well in advance of the restrictions to one account. I don't touch the account apart from to transfer the interest out every month, and everything is set up automatically.

Standing orders for £501 happen all on the same day every month between these 3 accounts and it worked for 2 but obviously not for 3. Paperless statements have always been activated.

I've just checked paperless settings, and it turns out that paperless correspondence was not selected for this account. So that's the reason.

Not that I need to convince people on here (I'm sure some will argue I didn't) but I've always had paperless setting activated. It's the first thing I did when setting up the account - the only reason to get the account was to fulfill the conditions for the interest - and there is a handy 'select all' button so it's not as if it's easy to miss one out. I've been getting interest since April 2014, and I checked the settings when opening a regular saver last November. i haven't been on settings since, let alone changed them this month. Safe to say a complaint is on its way.

Wasn't there a recent thread where paperless had been turned off if the account holder hadn't logged in and viewed all accounts for a period of time?

    EDIT: Here it is...

TSB are very keen on their customers logging in, checking their paperless statements, checking their annual interest summary ad nauseum.

Also found that because I log in to Halifax site to check both Halifax and BOS accounts, BOS believe(d) I hadn't logged in for nine months and sent me an email reminding me to log in (or else) to the BOS site where I found my Halifax accounts but now listed after the BOS ones:)
