I've just checked paperless settings, and it turns out that paperless correspondence was not selected for this account. So that's the reason.
Not that I need to convince people on here (I'm sure some will argue I didn't) but I've always had paperless setting activated. It's the first thing I did when setting up the account - the only reason to get the account was to fulfill the conditions for the interest - and there is a handy 'select all' button so it's not as if it's easy to miss one out. I've been getting interest since April 2014, and I checked the settings when opening a regular saver last November. i haven't been on settings since, let alone changed them this month. Safe to say a complaint is on its way.

If you are a Classic Plus Account holder, there is another important reason to make sure you log in regularly (or at least once a year). If you hold a Classic Plus Account, and have opted for paperless correspondence, you will receive 5% AER variable interest on your balance each month. But, you have to log in to Internet Banking so we know to keep our communications with you paper free. If you don't do this, we might cancel your paperless correspondence and start sending you letters again and this will mean you don't get the interest on your account.0 -

Well then this is ridiculous, because I have the TSB app and I log into that numerous times per week! And why would it cancel paperless correspondence on just one account, when I access that one just as much as all of the others! Grrrr...
Although I do at least feel justified that I did have paperless settings all set up correctly. No matter how much you feel sure of yourself, the logical preference would be that I'd missed it as opposed to TSB deciding to untick it for me...0 -

You've answered your own question here. You can't actually access your paperless correspondence through the app this can only be done through the website at present so they've probably picked up this is the case and turned the paperless correspondence off. Why just one account I don't know but a good guess is you didn't open them all at the same time so if left unchecked the same thing would have happened again on the others.Proud dad to two little ones who light up every day
