    Morning,

    Hope everyone is ok? If you're working today, I hope people and transport is kind to you.

    Back to normal for us today, no work but general house bits. List looks like this:

    * Do washing
    * Sort out dried washing - DONE
    * Change our bed
    * Wash up - DONE
    * De turkey, the turkey. Freeze meat and make stock with the carcass
    * Paint our bedroom

    We're off house seeing tomorrow, I'm hoping that this one is the gem that I've heard about, but we'll see.

    Back later x
  • Hi PMO2. Loving the goals, fingers crossed on the house.

    As for the annual bills/presents - I've put money away for a number of years, the first year is a bit tricky as you might get to a large bill before you have built up sufficient funds so you have to borrow from yourself IYSWIM but stick with it as after the first year, it's wonderful just drawing it down as and when yo need it.

    Also with EF, we didn't have one until this year as such, I started small and increased the amount each month, now it's at £75 a month and we're at £750, I haven't noticed it going but feel much happier it's there. Will just keep building.

    I also pad, log on to bank and transfer pennies or £ to get to round £5 each night. Practically paid off a cc this way, now do it to savings whilst my last cc is on 0%. Again don't notice it's gone.

  • I'm glad you had a good Xmas and am looking forward to hearing what you think of the hopefully-a-gem house!

    Your goals sound similar to mine, but I haven't written them out yet. I'll be looking at yours as inspiration, I may have to copy a few as well :)
