  • Yay for the month reset!

I've never tried to count my NSDs, I really should challenge myself to see how many I can do in a week.

  • fru-girl - Totally agree with regard to no spending.

Bob - I am very tempted to do it. I have had a nosy on the thread and it looks a bit scary!

    Thistle-down - I'm the same, I think I may have a go this time.
  • I've done it, I've signed up for the November NSD challenge. I have pledged 15 NSD's, now just got to keep track of them.

November is going to be interesting!

No news from either interview yet.
  • No news from either interview at all...however, spoken to some people I know and hopefully something will happen next week. Four weeks and counting until the end of this project.

Well done for signing up to the NSD challenge. I really should do that to stop those little spends that add up! I hope you hear very soon about the jobs.

    Good morning :)

Had a reasonable sleep last night and feeling fairly energetic to boot :j

Have had a look on the Flylady thread and going to attempt levels 1 and 2, I used to do them regularly when I was at home a lot, but these past two years things have slipped. I'm going to open all the windows and the kitchen door and let the air blow through, this should get rid of any bugs that are hanging about.

The bathroom has been attacked by the bleach and is currently 'soaking', it seriously needed it **embarrassed**

Other bits I need to get done:
    • Washing - being done (found more when tidying upstairs)
    • Ironing
    • Wash up
    • Clean hob - Currently soaking in Stardrops
    • Clean Bathroom and kitchen floors
    • Sort finances
    • Meal plan for next week
    • Shopping list
    • Make our bed - DONE
I will be back periodically to update my list.

In other news, I found out on FB that one of my old school friends passed away suddenly yesterday, she only turned 40 in July, such a shame, I wasn't close to her but its still a shock.

Right cuppa and a quick check of others diaries and then on with the cleaning.

ETA: Managed to spill a pint of squash on the floor of DH's side of the bed  cleaned up now (Doh!)

Bathroom is now sparkly, just the floor to do. As DD has a wooden floor, hers is going to get mopped too.

Washer has now finished so off I go.
  • Update on the cleaning side of things:

    Washing - Nearly done
    • Ironing
    • Wash up - DONE
    • Clean hob - DONE
    • Clean Bathroom and kitchen floors - DONE, also did conservatory floor and DD's wooden floor too
    • Sort finances
    • Meal plan for next week
    • Shopping list
    • Make our bed - DONE
I have tidied the lounge and polished, just got the current room of doom which is the dining room part (through lounge), if I get chance I may attack that tomorrow, if not it can wait until next weekend.

I also rang my mum and had a nice conversation but also had a barny with DS, think its hormonal with him, apparently asking him to change his bed and help his sister with hers is the wrong thing to do as it is a catastrophe?!? **shrugs shoulders**

Just got a few bits to sort then I will leave the rest until tomorrow.
  • Morning happy Sunday,

Fairly busy day yesterday, got loads of housework done, did the meal plan bar two days and did the shopping list.

Today DS is going to a birthday party at the skatepark so need to get a card.

I have a food shop to do today and I'll get out my spending money for next week.

We went to a farm shop last week on the way back from my interview and got lots of veg for £10, so I don't need to buy any of that and I plan to make a veg soup with any left over veg. The soup I can take for lunches, as we've a microwave on site.

Need to go through the finances today and make the necessary payments and move money about, this is a must do, so nag me if I forget :o
  • Back from food shopping, took DD with me who was a moody moo all the way around....should've gone on my own, it'd been quicker.

Should have enough for the next two weeks, as I've bits in the freezer, so will come up with ideas for next week too. Will just need a few bits next week.

Having a cuppa, then on with sorting dinner out and other boring Sunday bits.

    Happy Sunday everyone x
