  • Thanks HI, just needed a few days to recoup.

MiL was rushed to hospital yesterday with a suspected stroke, today the specialist has been round and no not a stroke (thankfully) but low sodium & low potassium show the same symptoms. MiL been on a drip and basically seems more like her self...the old dear will be 89 this year, so we expect a certain amount of things to happen...bless her!!

Friday...DD's Prom at her old school, it went well. She met up with her BFFs and had a great time. Late night but worth it :)

Back to work tomorrow. Lunch made and aiming for a NSD apart from using my weekly allowance.

Car went to the garage, they'll try to put through the warranty but as it was due to my accident in January they may decline it. May need to either move money about depending on the cost or it'll go on the BC. Wait and see, should get a quote tomorrow either way.
  • Morning,

    Hope everyone is ok?

Bank account checked, everything is ok there.

Lunch made for today, apart from having Friday WFH I was within my budget. Back to my £10 again this week.

Back to a normal week, work wise, got a shed load to get done too.

Sorry to hear about your mother in law, hopefully she will be feeling better and back on her feet soon.
Fingers crossed it will be a warranty job if not just have to keep faith that it won't cost as much as you fear.

Hope your MiL makes a good recovery and is back home soon x

Glad your dd had a good prom, bet it was nice to see her friends again.

Good luck with the car, also have my fingers crossed it goes through the warranty!

    Have a lovely day, H x
  • Quick update:

Spent £1.74 out of the my daily allowance, which gives me 26p to carry over

Today should be a NSD too.

Car isn't covered under the warranty, but they did try. Waiting to hear from DH about booking it in.
  • Forgot to mention, I have joined Prolific...seeing as everyone is raving about them :D

    No surveys yet.

Also I'm just a few points off a Boots voucher with VO, need to get back on track with this one as I used to get loads from them.
  • Just had word that MiL has been discharged and is on her way home :)

DH things that there will be a cheaper way to sort my car out, will hopefully discuss tonight.
  • Morning,

Bank account checked, nothing changed there.

    Lunch made for today.

I'm very tired today, I think the weekends caught up with me. I didn't get to sort what I wanted to on Sunday so my weeks a bit up in the air.

Gas and electric bill received....£295 for the quarter. Which compared to the last house, isn't too bad. Scottish Power are sending us a revised bill, this'll get paid on pay day. Our summer bill should be virtually nothing.

Will check the survey sites when I get to work.
