Can't see how this is in any way a ripoff.

You bought a brand new car. Decided you wanted another Brand new car.

And now you have lost money.

Why should the Dealer pay £1000 because you have decided you want to change your car?

The confusing thing is the first figure they gave me was £480 per month but they said this was a mistake.

I'm not an expert on how they work the figures but why did they not say they were going to add the £1k to the finance.

Because they said they would to seal the deal!

Then added it to my finance without telling me, don't get what you don't understand?

We're not understanding where in the deal the £1k went - assuming the deposit, monthly payments and GFV stayed the same they did absorb it. Which one of them changed between your original quote (which presumably needed £3k deposit) and the final one ?

Again, what we're struggling to understand is that you've implied that your deposit and monthly repayments would have stayed the same?

Please can you give us the following as per your credit agreement:

    Cash price (incl VAT)
    Advance payment
    Amount of credit
    Total charge of credit
    Total payable

    Monthly repayments
    Optional final repayment

They took £1k from my deposit to clear the negative equity meaning instead of me financing £25350 I was in fact financing £26650 making the payments £405 .

£26650-£25350 does not come to £1K!
