I hear German prison food is delightful if a little bland.

    Have a wonderful time.

Debt collection is international these days. Easy enough to trace people.

You dont say who you borrowed from. Perhaps one day you will meet with a baseball bat down a dark alley.

    You ask for advice.

My advice would be to contact the company you have borrowed from as soon as possible, to rub it into their faces that you have taken their money and are now running. Be sure to tell your local Bundespolizei the situation too when you reach your destination. They are world renowned for their sense of humour when confronted with a story about breaking the law at the expense of a British company and will no doubt give you helpful advice on how to stay one step ahead.

Especially when the company he is trying to stitch up has a business based in Germany.

I think you assume that the debt stops being a problem at UK's borders, theses days, they don't.

As they say the whole world is now connected and they will hunt you down.

And baseball bats can cross international borders.

This seems to be trolling twaddle.....

What was the £9k for? Why do you feel you are not obliged to pay it back?
