Help ! I panicked and registered the car as SORN. Is there anyway to tax it online ? It doesn't seem to be working for me :O(0

Can you get the buyer to collect it, or tax it before you make the journey?0

I thought anyone would tax online. Is this because you've SORN'd it?0

Thing is, though, that the buyer can't test drive if it's SORN'd.
It's quite a clever system the government has put in - it means that two people get to pay a given month's road tax on a car.0 -

And a helluva lot more don't pay tax at all as they don't have to display a Tax disc. Or have an MOT or even insurance. This was such an obvious result of the recent changes that only a government department and politicians could have come up with such a bad idea.0 -
The government are losing money hand over fist with their wonderfully thought out scheme, but of course their loss is a debt collectors gain!!
But once again it will be the law abiding motorist stumping up the cash to prop it all up!
