shes still operating the scam. she has just tried to scam me but luckily i looked her up. she was due toi meet me next week to view the property but had told me the property was mine already which didnt seem right. looked her up and low and behold there is quite a lot about her on various sites where she has taken peoples money. i wouldn't have parted with the money without viewing the property and signing papers with a legit solicitor but she is very convincing0

I am a landlord and have just had a would be tenant phoning me to inform me that my property is being scammed by Caroline Parker of 688 Seawall Highway, Coventry, West Midlands CV6 7JJ.
'Caroline' had responded to a genuine advert on gunmtree by a local Swansea lady looking for a 2 bed house. 'Caroline' offered my house (!) but wanted £400 in cash before the lady could even view the property. Luckily the local lady used her instinct and got a copy of the Land Registry title deeds for my property which she used to identify me as the real landlord and phoned me. I am so glad the local lady did not hand over any money.
I am waiting for the police to arrive - I have copies of the e-mails, fake tenancy agreements and a mobile phone number for 'Caroline Parker' but I know all details will be fake. I hope any future would be tenants see this thread before parting with any money.0 -
That 'sting' that was mentioned some posts back... Could you pursuade the local lady, and police, to follow through and catch her in the act....?0

According to google maps that address seems to be a real address so who is having their address used by this person?0

I am so happy I have googled her name as she about to send me the letting agreement0

I've had the same email from her... but it was to my email address I use for Amazon and in spam lol.
She wanted £400 upfront I have all her details to pass on to action fraud, just waiting on her bank details 🐀 What a evil, stupid scammer.0 -
I advertised on gumtree I was pregnant with my second child, and looking for a 2 or 3 bed property. This rosemary got in contact and has made a fake tenancy today and asked me to send £250 I said I would send £150 today then £100 upon viewing. Something clicked in my head and I searched her name and thank god this came up. Sorry for what happened to you! But so happy that I’ve seen this0

I'm helping my BIL to let his property. I've advertised it, and I've had one response from someone who is genuinely interested, but several other responses from people who have made appointments that they have not bothered to keep.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Im over 6 months pregnant and She almost had me and my partner today too, she sent me her "solicitors" bank details cos shes lost her bank card, when i said id rather give it her in person at the viewing tomorrow at 6pm she got rather aggitated and said id wasted her time and she was looking for other tenant, she also gave me the bull of shes just moved jobs with nhs, i googled this, that rosemary grant is a real person but started working in warakshire in 2014, all it takes is a google search for a name and some sort of info on them these days, i googled her email address and thats what alerted me to scam aswell, also asked about her solicitor who was coming to the viewing too and was told she didnt work for any solicitors she was rosemarys personal legal adviser at which she got aggitated again and once again told me she was looking for other tenants, was told this atleast 5 times over the last 3 weeks when i questioned anything about her, please let people know to watch out for her, reported her to gumtree and gave them all the contact info i had for her, also shes being reported to actionline fraud, she sent pretty convincing tennancy agreement and title deed even had my mother in law fooled, she gets her pics off estate agents pages too
We google mapped the house and it doesnt even look the same hope she eventually gets caught she prays on the vulnerable0 -
