Bunk cots...any idea where to buy?

I have a nearly 3 year old and nearly 6 month old. My 6 month old will soon be needing a bed well something bigger than her crib she's had since being born.
I looked into custom made bunk beds as my girls will have to share a room and the bunk cot company cam up. Fantastic idea as all interchangeable and fell in love with our 6mth old being in the top bunk as it has rails high like a cot and would be a lot easier dropping the side down to get her out rather than stooping down to the bottom bunk.
However as just over £600 it's way out of our price range. Unfortunately the bedroom isn't big enough to have a toddler bed for our eldest and have our youngest use the cot bed that our eldest is currently in.
Does anyone know of anything similar to the bunk cot? I've looked on ebay but can't find a thing.
Thank you

Also while lifting baby out from the top bunk might be easier than bending down to lift up, changing the sheets on a top bunk can be 'interesting'. And my memory of that age is that you're doing it quite frequently ...
Now, to make a practical suggestion. When DS3 was born, DH had just started working from home. So the 3rd bedroom was now an office.
So we put DS3 into a very large and sturdy travel cot in our room: we could fold it up during the day, and it was actually more escape proof than a cot, because being without bars there was nothing to haul yourself up with (until you could reach the top of the sides).
Would you have the space for that in the children's bedroom?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Sadly no we don't have any floor space for a travel cot. We bought a cheap £5 toddler bed purely to try space wise in the 2nd bedroom and it didn't work at all. I appreciate the idea of the bunk cot is scary, though both beds can be the cot. I just can't think of any other way.
I measured up swapping bedrooms but our bed and over the top/side wardrobes won't fit in it.That definitely would of been my preferred option as then the girls would of had a nice big bedroom and definitely a lot cheaper.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
Toddler bed located under an Ikea Kura bed, with the 3yo on the higher level?
eta. Scrap that, just read back and realised second child is only 6 months so still needs cot sides.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Just move the bed and leave the wardrobes in the bigger bedroom?
You could get a smaller wardrobe, or even just a hanging rail to use in the smaller bedroom.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

That might still work if you got a cot with wheels.
OP, whatever you do now is only going to be good for another year or so, once the baby can climb out of it's cot you've got to think again. Is there no way you can keep the baby in your room just for another year or so, then you can have normal bunk beds? I can't help but think any money you spend now has got to be spend again very soon.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Good idea, but you need to be six years old to be on the top level.0 -
Why can't the youngest just stay in your room?
You can't have actual bunk beds until your oldest is six, when your youngest is old enough to leave your room can't they just share a bed with their sibling?0 -
Youngest can't stay in our room as the crib she is in she is out growing and I can't fit the cot bed in (if we got our 3 year old a toddler bed and our youngest used the cot bed as that's what our 3 year old uses obviously minus the cot sides now). We currently have our bed, wardrobes inbuilt around it (well attached to the wall's for support), crib next to my side of the bed and the changing unit for our 6mth old in our room.
I know we can't have shop bunk bed's as our eldest is only 3. Our cot bed our eldest used from 6mths as is now using without a bed guard.
I need to make it as cheap as possible but also appealing in that next year we'll putting this up for sale so don't want to make either room appear smaller than it is.
I'm thinking keep wardrobe in our room and move bed is looking more appealing now.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
