Short term car lease - 3 months

Hi all,

My partner and I are looking to lease a car for a short term period (2-3 months) to drive around Europe, mostly around Spain, Portugal and Italy.

If you could please share any recommended companies, as well as positive and negative experiences, it would be much appreciated

I would definitely buy one. A lot of companies charge a heavy premium for taking a car out of the country of hire, and ending the hire at a different location can double the cost.

Just as an example... A friend was on honeymoon in Australia. She and her husband bought a camper van in Sydney, spent a 6 weeks driving across the country, and sold the van in Perth for a few hundred dollars more than they bought it for.

If you need a reliable bigger car with plenty of luggage space, go for something like a Mazda 6 that's 5 or 6 yrs old.
