    Thanks guys.. think I've got plenty to be getting on with, and the names are begining to sound a bit like hobbitses (specially yours 'Tanglefoot' - now I wonder why that is ?! :D )

    Think I'll go with crucial then, at least my OH will think I'm capable of independant thought! ... :rotfl: :rotfl: If only he knew.

    I've used crucial quite a lot, and been very happy with them, but then again i've been just as happy using generic ebuyer etc unbranded memory. I think if you're using it within normal tolerances there's not really much that you need to worry about.
    If you do use crucial make sure you check for the discount vouchers which are generally floating about ;)
