That's what I'm on about , they have brought in restrictions on most nearby roads for a couple of hours a day , they turn up during those time frames and ticket all non permit holders . Near me it's from 8 until 10 am .just means it stops non resident s from parking there for daysEx forum ambassador

I used to live in Horley and from the road I lived in (The Crescent), you could walk to the south terminal in 10 minutes.
Because of this, there were always loads of cars from holidaymakers parked in that area.
This pi55ed of the residents so much that complaints went into the council on a regular basis and now the Crescent and all the other roads in that part of Horley are resident parking only at certain times of the day (permit required).

Station Approach in Horley is one of your best bets. Then take the train to the airport. However, there have been thefts from cars in the area.
Personally I would park in either Balcombe or Faygate and take the train. Both are quiet villages where your car will be safer.0
