Sounds fair enough to me. I have never used tethering or used my phone abroad.

It depends on how the phone is used.

Real budget customers (like my wife and me ;)) are better off using a free Three SIM on 3-2-1 PAYG with no contract. We pay less in a month than the Three plans discussed. We can use ours abroad if we convert a £5 or £10 top-up, qualifying us for At Home tariffs for a month.

... or use Toggle, but that's another discussion.

Just switched from Three to EE this weekend, will be getting unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 16GB data for roughly £13.49 a month after Quidco cashback of £78.

I don't use minutes or texts that much mainly the data, currently my options on Three are £10 a month for 1GB data or £20 a month for 12GB data, not great! Whilst the EE still comes out to £20 a month before the cashback it is a great deal after that comes through and if I go on holiday I'll just use my Three SIM again for a month

To be honest I find it a bit of a joke how they keep going on about 3G and 5G and 1 million G but then lock customers down so much with the allowances, I appreciate the need for limits but current ones are often taking the biscuit!

For low users Three's 321 PAYG tariff is excellent: 1p/MB (works cumulatively); 2p/text; 3p/minute and your credit never expires. Includes 4G.

Can the price be increased after the minimum contract period is over even if you stay on the same plan?
