Sending Euros to Turkey

I'm looking to transfer 500 euros to Turkey from the uk.
I'm keen to avoid banks due to their crummy exchange rate and transaction fees.
I was going to use transferwise which seemed to give me a very good rate of about £420 for the 500 euros, but i since found out they only deal with the receiving countries home currency (in this case the Lira)
Therefor i was wondering if anyone had other companies they could suggest?
Thanks

All you can do is ask all the various brokers if they can arrange a euro payment in Turkey, but I doubt that any of them will. Why would lire not be acceptable by your payee?Evolution, not revolution0

I suggest you ask your payee how much in lira would be equivalent to the sum in Euro, and simply transfer that.0

The thing is it's a Euro only account.
I think i can do it with 'global web pay' for £435 which is not too bad i guess0 -
You may be able to use Revolut, exchanging to euros at the interbank rate then send them to the account, although that takes a few days. It will cost nothing to try anyway.Evolution, not revolution0
