i done a speed awareness course a few years ago and need to find out the date i completed it for my insurance company, a recent house move has meant everything is still boxed up so was wondering if there is any other way of finding the date out please?
All I can remember is where it was completed, it was about 3 or 4 years ago

Maybe old bank/credit card statements showing the payment?
As far as we know only Admiral group ask about SAC.
Why not go elsewhere when you won't have this to deal with?0 -
I'm with Diamond, not sure if they're part of Admiral group? Been with them 3 years and they're about £50 cheaper than others I found on some price comparison sites0

If you've been with them for 3 years, then surely they will already have the details on file?0 -
You would of thought so, as I do remember calling them as soon as I was clocked speeding (told them before and after the course). Phoned today to negotiate my renewal price and according to them they have to record of my speed awareness course0

Hasn't this come up in the 2 or 3 previous renewals?
Anyway, tell them you cantt remember, and that if they insist on knowing then you'll insure elsewhere. That should do the trick.0 -
Thanks Car, the last 2 times I just let it renew automatically as price stayed the same each time, and i had a house move and holiday that fell over the last 2 renewal dates, this was my first year of shopping around or bartering on the price, which has flagged it up0

Have you just recently disclosed the SAC you went on years ago?
If so there may be an issue of them wanting you to pay amended premiums for the previous years cover.0 -
