    Hi,

I managed my 20000+ of steps yesterday and my jobs.
I'm not going to be able to increase the savings as dd needs new shoes and bits have cropped up. As long as I clear debt and not increase it that's the main thing I suppose!

Not asked for a couple of weeks, any more properties come up yet in your chosen area ?

Not really that are suitable. They are all smaller and more expensive.

    Morning.

I've managed to lose 5lbs in two weeks which I'm pleased with.
Dh gets paid tomorrow and I can't wait. I haven't made any extra debt payments and can't seem to top up my savings either. Things keep on cropping up. Ds needed new shoes .... why are they so expensive?! I'm not going to stress about it though as life is too short. All I can do is ensure I pay the minimums and don't create more debt.

Have a good frugal day everyone.

Excellent getting under £45k. Debt is going in right direction!! Well done.

I know what you mean about things cropping up. Every month there is something. Having savings pots for these things is a good idea when the budget allows. Difficult when you have debt though to know which to do especially as you are saving to move too.

    Hi debtaghh

That's great news on the debt front. Very soon you will be in the 70s :T

    Onwards and downwards. Keep going

    Hi,

I haven't written on here as in all honesty I feel very deflated and there is no point in writing on here daily negative reports. The fact is our debt is too much and seriously affecting my mental health, I can't tell you the amount of jobs that I have applied for and never hear back. Until I feel in a better place I don't see the point of updating my own diary regularly.

High debt is the cause of poor mental health and I feel for you because it must seem like a never ending mountain to climb. You are doing well on controlling costs though so I think you are doing as much as you can. The job situation must be disheartening but eventually one will come up.

If posting in your diary is making you feel worse then there is nothing wrong with taking a break so long as you don't stop budgeting. We will still be here when you get back. I also think the fact you have to move and that there is nothing in your price range must be worrying you so you probably don't feel in control at the moment and that events are controlling you rather than the other way round. I do hope you get some good news soon. Make sure you seek medical help if you feel your mental health is suffering beyond a point you can cope with.
