Hello all ~ my first post here, and after reading previously of bargains to be had i thought i had better join up and share mine with you in the hope that maybe somewhere another boots store has a bargain like this.
I spotted a hp photosmart printer in my local boots camera dept with a clearance sticker on for £15 so went to ask to look at the box to see if it would be compatible with my old digital camera. It turned out it included a 5.2 mp camera aswell!! Of course i snapped it up, yet when the sales assistant scanned it it came up at £3! she tried to over ride the price saying it was obviously a mistake but no matter what, it wouldn't. She phoned a supervisor to explain and eventually they decided that was the clearance price. So i got a the printer & camera for the grand sum of £3.
The packagage is the HP photosmart 422, the printer that comes with it that was on display had the model number Hp 420. This was in wakefield so no more there, but i guess its worth a go to price check one should you ever spot one in another boots branch.

    WOW!! Well done! :T
I thought I had done well a few months back getting a Kodak Z700 reduced from £179 to £40...then finding the compatible camera dock and rechargeable battery pack reduced to £2.50 (think it was about £40 normally??)....but you have beaten my bargain!! :D
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

I've not been to Boots for ages, but I wandered into Oxford today and OMG did I get lost! Everything has been moved, we've got new advantage card machines and even the escalators run in the wrong direction.

Anyway. I couldn't find the clearence section, so I'm assuming it's gone. They did have some reduced no7 stuff on a red stand by the main door (high street side) and it is all £1. Colours are limited, but I picked up an earth coloured eyeshadow trio for £1 which was quite good. There was also a limited amount of reduced baby clothes upstairs on the normal racks.

All of the Christmas stuff is in too

I must admit I felt really claustrophobic in their now as all the displays are higher and closer together...still I guess that means more room for Boots bargains! cel x

I managed to get a super deal at my local it was a Philips electric shaver on clearance from £198.0 to only £79.99 when I went to the till it said £4.00 however the manager did not want to sell it at that price but gave it to me for £19.80 which is still good so quite happy.

What model number is it hun ? Thanks
  • Well I've finally had a good boots day,,
at my local Boots I only ever get rubbish vouchers from the ACM, but today I went a little bit further afield and got lots of fab vouchers from that ACM,
:j **Won 1000 in the Boots birthday thingy, **:j

    other vouchers included
(finally) the 500 point memory card voucher-although I couldn't find any cheap cards
1000 points on any samsung/fiji camera-looking for 1 for my son for xmas.
100 points on boots expert range- bought a shampoo for 1.30
200 points on the new no.7 mascara, but I also had the £5 parent voucher,

spent around £5-6 and got £12 worth or points, this is my first good saving, so I was really pleased.

Kind of makes up for yesterday, ordered a £40 baby walker in store, but didn't have any vouchers that I could use for extra points, and I couldn't order it online because I was paying with vouchers, BUT having said that the vouchers were free from pigsback, so I guess it isn't too bad.

Thanks for listening, lol, I will be quite now ;)

yesterday l was in Swansea boots and came across some trolleys with bargins in GOT
2 X PACKS PHOTO PAPER =10P EACH-went thrugh as BOGOF!
2X MEMORY STICKS for cameras/mp3s= £1 each plus 1x 128mb memory stick for computer =£1
pilates DVD down from £9 to £2.24
used 500 points voucher for memory stick
got couple of other toiletries and paid
    then next transaction
1x 256 memory stick for £1 + gave 500 points voucher in and before she put other bits thru she said thats wrong-the memory stick had gone through free!
You cant have that and went to find supervisor -she came back without one-said shes coming-then said can l have your other recipet back-l gave it-she said the others went thru free too- l genuinly had not realised - she went thats wrong-at that point Miss Jobsworth appeared and they tutted over it-then she said-Can l have your other bag as l will have to put it all thru again as it charged you wrong before as well !!!!
Now l was polite but firm-saying l dont think you have any right to do that as
that transaction was completly finished-we can she said -so l was not sure but felt it couldnt be right so stood my ground and she almost spat -your right-at me!!!!THEN had to give me the memory stick for £1-but when l got out it seemed altogether ld gained £25 points and spent £5 odd!!!!
so think l did come off best but expected a block on my card or something next!!!!!
:j this money saving is such fun:T

I had a great Boots haul today with lots of shampoos and hair products reduced to cheap as chips prices and still going through on the 3 for 2 offer. Also used the 200 points on the Trevor Sorbie ACM voucher and the 100 points on Boots own brand shampoo (works out about 16p each then). Finally a Naturals Bath bomb for 33p with the ACM voucher as DS likes these in the bath. He needs encouragement to get clean LOL

17 bottles of shampoo for my christmas charity stall and only spent about £4
