  • A big thank-you to all you Bootsers here! I went into my local Oxford Street (big main store) Boots this afternoon and got myself some bargains!

Although they have cleared away their 2nd floor clearance section (now the Christmas floor) I wandered over to the ground floor No7 counter to contemplate buying some more foundation (which I need). Its currently 342 on No7 and ended up buying 2 Stay Perfect foundation and got my matching pressed powder compact free (total £26). Hiding away behind the till and behind 3 sales assistants was a small two tier shelf of SALE goodies!!!

    I got 3 x 3 colour brown/ beige eye shadow palette (43p each)
    4 x lipsticks 43p each
5 x single eye shadows in metallics 25p each

    Total 12 sale No7 make-up items all on 342 for £3.08!!!!!!!

The lovely sales assistant chatted to me about how cheap they were and that they were selling out very quickly today. She even put all my cosmetics in a posh paper N07 bag and waited for me as I grabbed some more!

I also remembered to use my final £2 digital printing voucher.

:-( I didnt get any note on the ACM about whether I was/ wasnt a winner of the 10k birthday boots points.....
Lovin Boots and other bargainous places!

Also, got a few bottles of shampoos reduced and the botonics wipes with the waffle thing, BUT i forgot to look at the meal deal vouchers & go to the ACM!! I am hopeless today.

The christmas stuff is out in the shops and on .com now. The new book comes out on 3rd October and the christmas shopping evening should all be announced next week. All offers and gwps are on the first post. Alot of Boots shops seem to be getting rid of the last of the sale stuff now too. Thats about it.

    HTH

Can you order stuff out of the books instore and pay with points?

Any chance there would be a nintendo ds in there?

The SA in my store today was telling me about the xmas AD card night and that you get 500pts for every £50 spent... forgot to ask but would i earn these points if i spent the £50 on my ad card rather than in cash?

    thanks.

No you will only get the points if you pay with cash/gift vouchers etc, definitely not with AC points.

Did she definitely say 500pts per £50 spend? It has always been 1000 points per £50 spend in the past.
  • Is there any sale items in Colraine?

Very few bargins to be had although I havent been in since Thursday. They had a few bits near the front door and then a few nearer the back - they did have some ROC stuff, some NO7 stuff (which didnt seem to have been reduced as much as it had been in Ballymena)and they had Mooncups for £5.00, I meant to go today but didnt manage to get into town.
    Nice to save.

I'm annoyed - found 2 mem cards, but the SAs refused to swipe the voucher with it because "they were clearance" (first one scanned as free but she overrode it!), and I stated that it does not say that clearance was excluded, and they still refused! Going to complain, whats teh point giving out vouchers when they won't honour them? No reduced in Romford either.

I noticed that the No7 illuminating mirror is not available online anymore. Does anyone know whether it still is in store? Thanks.

Edit: How strange! It used to be under Electrical beauty, but it's not anymore. Found it online though. Is it also £39 in store again?
