I can get the Clinique lipstick my daughter would love for Christmas on Ebay for £8.99, free p&p.
But what I want to do is buy it from boots.com (£14) then add 2 other expensive items to get 1000 extra points. Absolutely bonkers, when I have loads of points on my card, and have spent months sourcing bargains for Christmas presents. Otherwise, I'm perfectly rational!0 -
ted baker filled cosmetic bag/weekedn-slightly damaged stock(cosmetic stained) £1.75 & £3-these are quite pricey usually so worth it if you want to split and make a hamper with the contents and use the bag yourself after giving it a clean.hth
LOL - How wierd - I bought one of these up north for £3 with cosmetic stains on it! Must attract it?? Mine was a womans spring weekender and got 3 large bottles of TB in it.. well worth it as i'll use the bag to store some of my craft stuff.0 -
today i got loads of shampoos all reduced but they are not with all the other reduced things, they are on the normal shelves just with different tickets, mark hill blondes/brunettes shampoos and conditioners were 5.49 now 1.38 and 342 so got what was on shelf, loads of headand shoulders and elvive down to 46/58 p each and studio hair stuff putty etc 85/89p i used points to pay for these so 4 big bags full and did not spend a bean.:D
As for the money owed to me by boots, well i am still waiting - i chased them today, they went through to paypal and tryied sorting it out, she phoned me back and said it is there problem and all the money owed would be in my paypal account straight away, well it isn't so looks like another phone call tommorrowcoupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0 -

didn't win the 1000 points (boo) but managed to get a bargain today with the 100 points with any Trevor Sorbie. Can't use it on minatures or electricals, but in Boots in Barnsley they have reduced the Everyday Shampoo and Everyday Conditioner to £1.13 from £4.49. So, it cost me 13p in theory! Bargain in my book!!
One question though, I used 3 100 point coupons, and these were the only points I got, I didn't get the 4 for a pound on top. Is this a new thing or should I have got them? You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
I never win anything but .... I WON 1000 points for Boots Birthday:j
thanks everyone for all the boots tips:T0 -
Bought 2 Elizabeth Arden foundation sticks today with a £2 clearance sticker on them. I gave the SA my 750 points voucher which she had to manualy add. It was not until I got home that I noticed that both the foundation sticks had went through for £1.
Also found a max factor lipfinity for £4 and used the 200 points parenting voucher.
This was in Banbridge. There were tons of Rimmel lipsticks and all types of hair dyes there reduced. I saw three rows of the Roc boxsets that have £5 vouchers inside, but the sticker price on it was £14.95 (I did not check to see if this was further reduced - if it is would you please let me know).Norn Iron Club Member No 1270 -
Hello all ~ my first post here, and after reading previously of bargains to be had i thought i had better join up and share mine with you in the hope that maybe somewhere another boots store has a bargain like this.
I spotted a hp photosmart printer in my local boots camera dept with a clearance sticker on for £15 so went to ask to look at the box to see if it would be compatible with my old digital camera. It turned out it included a 5.2 mp camera aswell!! Of course i snapped it up, yet when the sales assistant scanned it it came up at £3! she tried to over ride the price saying it was obviously a mistake but no matter what, it wouldn't. She phoned a supervisor to explain and eventually they decided that was the clearance price. So i got a the printer & camera for the grand sum of £3.
The packagage is the HP photosmart 422, the printer that comes with it that was on display had the model number Hp 420. This was in wakefield so no more there, but i guess its worth a go to price check one should you ever spot one in another boots branch.0 -
