  • Hi

Anyone ever been to Richmond Boots In London.
The Manager There is sooooooooooooooooo rude!
I cudnt believe it when i went to return something that i had bought form boots.com, he said they (Boots) are there to make money and not to return,

I was fumeing  Sorry about the mispellin.

And he said that he cant take it back.

I rang customer service from my mobile then and there, he then refunded, and i lodged a formal complaint about him dissapearing with my debit card and mobile phone whilst on the phone with CC for over 7 mins....

Dont think i will ever go in there again!

I thought all you bootsers might be able to help as you are all 'in the know' as to the best buys/deals at boots.

I am putting together a raffle prize (my sil's cafe are doing the 'worlds biggest coffee morning' in aid of McMillan nurses...We are going to do a raffle to try to raise as much as possible and I am going to do the first prize of a basket of 'pampering goodies'....I have already got the local beauty shop giving us a voucher for their treatments...

So basically, what are your suggestions for the other items from boots...I think I might either go later today to my local store, or else I might use .com and order some stuff for myself on top to get the free delivery.

I am looking to spend around £25 on the products...

    Thanks for any ideas...

Where are you? If you are local to me I would like to donate.

Apologies for nor being able to understand this but......

I have an order from July - shows as "being processed" but in reality the order has been DELIVERED and has also been PAID FOR via debit card (not paypal).

All my other orders show "delivered".....

Is there a risk of being charged AGAIN for this order ????

OR is it just that people are being charged the first time for these orders - albeit two months later ?

I ordered something last october and it said being processed. Then i was charged in October, November AND this may for the same order. I rang them and they couldn't apologise enough and refunded it but couldnt be sure if I I would be charged again. I cancelled my account with them and cancelled my credit card (introductory offer had expired anyway) so it was sorted in end. Do watch out though in case you are charged again.
  • Feeling rather humiliated and angry with Boots. I emailed them about being overcharged about a month ago and didn't get a reply so I resent the email over the weekend..... had this reply today:

"I've taken this opportunity to investigate this further for you. Unfortunately based on your previous customer history I can see that we have compensated you for several similar issues. Therefore we can no longer reimburse you from Customer Care. However please return to store when next possible for you, with your receipt. The Store Manager will be happy to help you further with this."

They make me sound like a con artist or something..... As far as I recall I've only twice had problem like this previously. I feel truely offended. :( And whats the betting if I go into store now theres no way I'll get a refund. It's about £5 ish.

Just checked the receipt... it was 20th Aug.
Wins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers... :D
