Should combine nicely with the points coupons already out for botanics and don't forget the wipes for a free gift too
Is the points coupon you mention the one in the mag as theres one from the acm as well . Theres also the £2.50 on the mens anti ageing micro dermabrasion kit in the Groom Room insert in the mag as well. Now that would be a challenge to use the four coupons and get the free wipes as well.
  • Anyone know when the Xmas gift guide will be out? You can tell the stores are gearing up for it, possibly tomorrow???

Feeling rather humiliated and angry with Boots. I emailed them about being overcharged about a month ago and didn't get a reply so I resent the email over the weekend..... had this reply today:

"I've taken this opportunity to investigate this further for you. Unfortunately based on your previous customer history I can see that we have compensated you for several similar issues. Therefore we can no longer reimburse you from Customer Care. However please return to store when next possible for you, with your receipt. The Store Manager will be happy to help you further with this."

They make me sound like a con artist or something..... As far as I recall I've only twice had problem like this previously. I feel truely offended. :( And whats the betting if I go into store now theres no way I'll get a refund. It's about £5 ish.

Just checked the receipt... it was 20th Aug.

thats pretty bad. i would try in store, but if you dont get anywhere, take satisfaction from the fact that every time you walk in a store/shop online, YOU are getting more out of it than they are!

Got to go to boots today and got:

2 x packs of johnsons wipes for £2.39 each to add to my massive pile already, lol!

Ted baker womens travel bag with 3 x full size body products in for £3

2 x No7 make up items, forgot to pick up a 3rd as would have been 342? boo hoo!

Slim fast items, 342 and got 3 x smoothies 1/2 price with health club too :)

There was a very rude woman who was impatient behind me at the ACM, tried to put her card in over my shoulder when i was looking for mine in my purse, then she was annoyed when we had finished and tried to move away with a trolley and a pushchair and she couldnt get to the machine fast enough! :( some people ..

I got overchaged for a Boots pedicure kit 2 weeks ago, I called CS, and they said go back to the store, and I know they won't do anything, as it was the last one, but might return the item anyway.

As for CS and points - that happened with my mum (funkyfarmgirl). She's had no offers since Jan, and has used the card hundreds of times, and they kept giving her points to apologise (when all we want are the vouchers), and they keep telling us "Just be patient" or "You've not had it long enough" or "You've not used it enough" (that shocked me - I had vouchers straightaway when I got mine, and she uses her more than me!), and when she called the other day, he just said "I've got no idea, and I can see that we've given you points in the past, so we cannot give you anymore".

Shame really, as they wouldn't need to 'compensate' us if they got things right in the first place!

Anyway, went on the acm and I my offers are pretty rubbish, I do get some come up, but none of the decent ones I have seen mentioned here like botanics etc...:(
