I have also been charged today for a transaction via paypal from mid july! Totally unexpected.. i didnt realise it hadnt already come out but not too happy that it has left me with less money now

There are lots of these from mid july arent there ?? strange. I made an order after this date and payment was taken straight away.

I'm really naffed off with Boots.com. Bought the Inverto Freeview Recorder and was concerned when it didn't arrive. Checked online and it said it had been delivered. When I called them they said that the courier had left it behind the bin some days before. However, they had not put a card through and I had no idea. As we are big on recycling round here I have six bins so it took a bit of searching, unfortunately, the parcel was long gone!

What surprised me is they were not in the least concerned! Apparently, if it is not recorded delivery it is OK for the courier to put the parcel 'somewhere on your property' if you are not in! They then said that the courier 'must have forgotten' to put the card through. I buy stacks of things online and I've never come across such a thing before. Generally, an item is left with a neighbour or goes back to the depot for redelivery.

I did get to keep my points (which were 10 per £1 plus and extra 600 for a coupon so it is c£16) but I'd really wanted the product which is now discontinued. I'd really think twice about ordering again if they are just going to stick it somewhere in clear view of the street without telling me! Might as well just put it on the pavement with a 'please steal me' sticker on it!

Thanks for that. To be honest the last 3 visits to The Gyle have been really disappointing with nothing other than a few reduced perfumes. In the good old days there was always a couple of sections marked specifically for clearance. Glad I don't go there often these days.

Not sure if I have been to Straighton before - I'm not very good with different parts of Edinburgh so probably not.

Also popping into the small Boots not far from the Rutland? to put my photos in for developing. Vouchers arrived safely today so thanks very much. :T I need to get my mums birthday cake ordered in Leith so guess I'd better walk very quickly with DS in tow (well in buggy) as I can't resist not popping into all the other Boots along the way. Well I'll see what time I have...

Since I'm going on holiday this Wednesday I will be checking out the Boots at Edinburgh airport and I assume there will be at least one at Heathrow airport. :T

I've been to a couple of Boots at one of the London airports before but I can't remember which airport. :eek:

I've had enough of using paypal with boots, i had placed an order back in july, but boots never sent it as they blocked my account for ordering too many mouthwash........................ but they took the money from paypal today along with 2 of each payment for orders since, they have wiped out my paypal,dread what they have done to my bank. paypal which i was using to buy the final bits for my wedding - including 2 suits which i have just bought on fleabay and now can't pay for unbelievable. I advise everyone to check through and make sure you have paid for your order only the once, they currently owe me around 450 quid, kick off tommorrow is not the word. I'm going through writing down the order numbers and then tracking them in paypal, please double check yours and as for taking the payments 8 weeks or so after delivery is taking the biscuit!

Does anyone know if the old and new no7 5 off parent vouchers can be used together to give 10 off?

Also, is there any chance they work on the new christmas gifts, I NEED the new no7 brush set, its lovely!

Oh my god just checked paypal, they have taken payment last week for an order I placed in August, which from what I can see was paid then also. FUMING MAD, going to call first thing tomorrow.

looks like customer services will be busy in the morning..................i will not tell OH he'll go mad, i went into paypal to see why it was processing different and there was my overview page, boots, boots, boots, boots, i know this bootsing is obsessive but now paypals put a dampener on it, I shall stick to using my bank, least i know when its gone.

Looks like a major mess to me, please everyone who have used paypal for Boots orders, CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS.
